National Waste believes that providing support in the communities in which it operates is of vital importance.

Charitable Support
National Waste Services supports charitable causes, and welcomes inquiries to assist or take part in important programs, whether nationwide or local in nature.

As an avid supporter of the Chum City Christmas Wish program and the Canadian Cancer Society, National Waste Services also believes in helping local charities achieve their goals through the individual action of its people. Recently, National Waste Services staff got a haricut, the result of which supported Angel Hair, an organization that provides wigs free of cost to children with cancer.

Sports Teams Sponsorship
National Waste Services is a proud sponsor of many amateur sports teams, including the Whitby Wolves Minor Atom A league, Whitby Wolves Girl’s Hockey Novice league, and the Whitby Iroquois Soccer Club.

School Presentations
National Waste Services also believes in promoting recycling and waste knowledge to future generations through various school presentations. In the past, National Waste Services has been a part of the Ajax Fire Safety Program for local elementary school’s and organizing a presentation on Recycling for Recycling Week at St. Bernard’s Elementary School, Whitby.
